The Autumn Festival collage project is an alternative to the Halloween specific activities and projects, which I applied for the first time this year, with the 3rd grade students from 2 different classes.
My students enjoyed this project, because it was easy and fun to make. Each child received some autumn related templates to colour, cut and paste to a coloured mini poster.
The words were: leaf, pumpkin, acorn and corn, which we previously learned a lesson before, through a series of fun activities on paper.
The results were wonderful and the activity was a success.
I plan on having similar activities, on different topics, in the future.
