Within the framework of the Erasmus Accreditation 2023–2027, a number of five teachers who participated in the international job shadowing mobility carried out between 27–31 October 2025 at Theoretical High School No. 13 in Kraków and had as their main objective the digitalization of the teaching and assessment process, created interactive digital resources for the benefit of the entire school community of Liceul Teoretic "Radu Vlădescu".

The participation in the EU-funded project 2025-1-RO01-KA121-SCH-000321135 enabled direct observation of how an educational institution in Poland integrates digital technologies into teaching practice, particularly in the areas of lesson design, formative and summative assessment, and the provision of personalized feedback to students. As a result of these experiences, and in accordance with the agreed learning agreements, the participating teachers developed five open educational resources each, designed to capitalize on the positive experiences and the exchange of good practices identified during their Erasmus job-shadowing mobility.

The resources created include interactive LIVRESQ lessons, assessment quizzes, and digital materials developed using modern tools such as Kahoot, LearningApps, Google Forms, and other digital applications effectively used in the European schools observed. These materials support the implementation of innovative, student-centered teaching approaches and contribute to the diversification of assessment strategies by using technology as a tool for learning and progress monitoring.

The creation and dissemination of these open educational resources directly contribute to the multiplication of Erasmus+ mobility outcomes, ensuring that the entire school community has access to the competencies and expertise acquired by the participating teachers. The teaching staff can adapt and integrate these resources into their own instructional practices, our students benefit from interactive and relevant learning activities, and the institution strengthens its capacity to deliver a high-quality educational process aligned with the current requirements of digital education.

Through these initiatives, Liceul Teoretic “Radu Vlădescu” demonstrates that job shadowing mobilities represent an essential instrument for the teachers’ professional development and for the sustainable modernization of the teaching, learning, and assessment process, to the benefit of all members of the school community.

It's the Season of Christmas Carols

In December 2025, the activities of the local project It's the Season of Christmas Carols brought together students of all ages willing to celebrate Christmas through creative and inclusive activities. The participants worked collaboratively to prepare festive cards, Christmas wishes, and enjoy carol singing. A seasonal presentation encouraged reflection on kindness and generosity, supporting the students’ emotional and social development. The card-making session allowed the pupils in class 4A to express creativity and share goodwill in a personal way. The project promoted teamwork, empathy, and confidence while creating a warm atmosphere that spread festive cheer and reinforced a strong sense of belonging for everyone involved.

Proiect eTwinning ”We Produce with Hands, We Grow with Culture”

We Produce with Hands, We Grow with Culture
Generally, values ensure the unity and solidarity of society and help individuals live and integrate as one.

Our handicrafts are also one of our cultural assets. Every country has its own traditional handicrafts.

These include paper art, amigurumi, marbling, rug weaving, jewelry making, knitting, and small-scale clothing sewing.

Through these regional handicrafts, students will learn about the cultural values of both their own and other countries, develop their manual skills, and experience the joy of creating and sharing.

The project will last five months. Students will use Web 2.0 to create engaging content and cultivate their cultural heritage.

The 2025 edition of Global Education Week ran from 17 to 24 November and was organised under the theme “Shaping a Just, Peaceful and Sustainable Future”, inspiring participants worldwide to “turn hope into action.”

GEW invites schools, youth groups, NGOs and communities to host workshops, conferences, environmental-education activities, and civic-engagement projects around the five core pillars of the 2030 Agenda: People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace and Partnership.

The North-South Centre of the Council of Europe and the Global Education Network coordinate the campaign globally, helping mobilise and support educational and community efforts across Europe and beyond, promoting global citizenship, solidarity, and sustainable, inclusive development.

A Shared Decision: The Project Participants Voted for the Official Logo of Our eTwinning Project

The eTwinning project A Song for Our Souls in an English-Speaking World has reached an exciting milestone with the voting of its official logo. Four creative proposals from Romania, Turkey, and Poland were submitted, each reflecting the project’s focus on music, collaboration, and the use of English as a shared language. A total of 75 representatives from all partner schools took part in the voting, making the process both democratic and engaging for everyone involved.
The winning design, created by the Polish team, stood out for its vibrant style and its ability to visually capture the spirit of the project. Although only one logo could be selected, the entire process offered valuable experiences for the students. They had the opportunity to express creativity, learn about visual communication, and appreciate cultural perspectives from partner schools.
Beyond choosing a logo, the voting activity strengthened teamwork, encouraged active participation, and helped build a shared project identity. It also promoted democratic values, giving students a meaningful role in shaping the project’s public image. The new official logo will now represent the unity, diversity, and enthusiasm that drive this international collaboration.

Misiunea de observare din cadrul proiectului Erasmus 2025-1-RO01-KA121-SCH-000321135 - XIII Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Bohaterów Westerplatte, Cracovia, 27-31 octombrie 2025

Datorită finanțării de la Uniunea Europeană, în perioada 27–31 octombrie 2025, am participat la o mobilitate Erasmus+ de tip job shadowing găzduită de XIII Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Bohaterów Westerplatte din Cracovia, Polonia. Misiunea de observare, una dintre cele mai importante activități ale proiectului 2025-1-RO01-KA121-SCH-000321135, a avut drept scop digitalizarea procesului de predare și evaluare prin participarea cadrelor didactice la mobilități Erasmus de job shadowing în beneficiul întregii comunități școlare a Liceului Teoretic „Radu Vlădescu” din Pătârlagele.

Obiectivul principal al mobilității a fost dezvoltarea competențelor digitale și interculturale, prin observarea directă a modului în care profesorii polonezi integrează tehnologia în educație. Încă din prima zi, am fost întâmpinați cu entuziasm de echipa gazdă, care ne-a prezentat școala și ne-a implicat în discuții despre utilizarea resurselor digitale pentru eficientizarea proceselor administrative și didactice. În cadrul mobilității, am participat la ateliere de lucru și lecții demonstrative, am asistat la activități educaționale care au combinat metode tradiționale cu instrumente digitale moderne și am descoperit cum pot transforma aceste tehnologii învățarea într-o experiență interactivă, colaborativă și motivantă pentru elevi.

Pe lângă asistențele la clasă și atelierele de lucru, am participat la întâlniri tematice dedicate educației digitale, protecției datelor personale și siguranței online. De asemenea, am avut ocazia să discutăm cu psihologul școlii despre prevenirea cyberbullyingului și sprijinul oferit elevilor cu nevoi educaționale speciale – aspecte extrem de relevante și pentru contextul școlii noastre.

Un moment deosebit a fost realizarea unui proiect colaborativ – o carte digitală despre avantajele și dezavantajele utilizării tehnologiei în educație. Această activitate ne-a stimulat gândirea critică și creativitatea, punând accent pe folosirea conștientă și echilibrată a instrumentelor digitale.

Experiența nu s-a limitat doar la partea profesională. Programul a inclus și activități culturale care ne-au permis să descoperim frumusețea orașului Kraków și istoria sa impresionantă. Schimburile interculturale și momentele petrecute împreună cu profesorii gazdă au consolidat relații de prietenie și viitoare oportunități de colaborare.

La finalul mobilității, am reflectat asupra asemănărilor și diferențelor dintre sistemele educaționale din România și Polonia și am identificat modalități concrete prin care putem adapta bunele practici observate la realitățile școlii noastre.

În concluzie, această experiență Erasmus+ a fost o sursă valoroasă de inspirație și învățare care ne-a ajutat să ne îmbunătățim competențele digitale și pedagogice, să înțelegem mai bine rolul tehnologiei în educația modernă și să ne dorim să devenim agenți activi al schimbării în propria comunitate școlară. Mobilitatea din Polonia a fost o lecție valoroasă despre inovație, colaborare și deschidere către Europa educației viitorului.

Experiențe de învățare și interculturalitate prin acreditarea Erasmus+

Școala Gimnazială „Sf. Dumitru” Craiova, aflată în anul al patrulea de acreditare Erasmus+, implementează în prezent proiectul 2025-1-RO01-KA121-SCH-000331159. În perioada 20–24 octombrie 2025, a fost desfășurată o mobilitate de grup cu participarea a 15 elevi și 4 cadre didactice în Istanbul, Turcia, la Araştırma Geliştirme Eğitim ve Uygulama Merkezi Secondary School. Scopul principal al activității de mobilitate a fost dezvoltarea competențelor digitale, media și interculturale ale participanților, printr-un program educațional și cultural variat, realizat în parteneriat cu instituția gazdă. Activitățile au debutat cu ceremonia de deschidere și exerciții de tip ice-breaking, urmate de atelierul „Media Literacy in Education”, în cadrul căruia elevii au discutat despre influența inteligenței artificiale asupra presei, identificarea bias-ului și importanța gândirii critice. Prima zi s-a încheiat cu un atelier de artă și o croazieră pe Bosfor, care le-a oferit participanților o perspectivă inedită asupra orașului aflat la granița dintre două continente.

Cea de-a doua zi a fost dedicată învățării prin experiment și creativitate, elevii participând la un atelier de programare cu Micro:Bit, unde au explorat concepte de codare interactivă. A urmat o lecție de engleză axată pe scrierea creativă în echipă și activitatea „Project Design Practices & Mind Games”, ce a stimulat gândirea logică și spiritul competitiv prin puzzle-uri și jocuri educative. După-amiaza, programul a continuat cu vizite culturale la Palatul Beylerbeyi și la Muzeul de Sticlă și Cristal din Beykoz, două repere istorice și artistice care au oferit elevilor o imagine autentică a patrimoniului turcesc. A treia zi a fost dedicată explorării patrimoniului cultural și religios al Istanbulului, prin vizitarea unor obiective emblematice: Palatul Dolmabahçe, Parcul Gülhane, Hagia Sophia, Moscheea Albastră, Grand Bazar, Piața Sultan Ahmed, Moscheea Süleymaniye și Palatul Topkapı, oferind participanților ocazia de a descoperi istoria, tradițiile și diversitatea culturală a Turciei.

În zilele următoare, activitățile s-au concentrat pe științele exacte și reflecția asupra experienței trăite. În laboratorul de științe, elevii au realizat observații microscopice și au participat la ateliere de matematică și tehnologie, dezvoltându-și gândirea logică și spiritul de echipă. Ultima zi a mobilității a inclus completarea fișelor de feedback, redactarea impresiilor personale și ceremonia de închidere, în cadrul căreia au fost înmânate certificatele de participare. Evenimentul a fost marcat de un moment artistic — un recital instrumental al elevilor gazdă și un dans popular românesc susținut de elevele școlii „Sf. Dumitru”. În încheiere, au avut loc scurte discursuri din partea coordonatoarelor, doamnele Leman Kamer Ergene și Daniela Grecu, urmate de cuvinte de mulțumire ale echipei din România: Valentina Violeta Dragă, Elena Mihalcea și Maria Pîrva. Mobilitatea s-a încheiat cu o vizită la Çamlıca Hill, de unde participanții au admirat panorama spectaculoasă a Bosforului și a orașului Istanbul, încheind astfel o experiență educațională și culturală memorabilă.

#ErasmusDays 2025 – “Live our values, inspire our future!”

On October 14, 2025, Liceul Teoretic "Radu Vlădescu" (Pătârlagele) marked #ErasmusDays 2025 with a local campaign dedicated to European values and community transformation through education. The six-hour event gathered approximately 120 students and teachers involved in eTwinning and Erasmus+ projects, alongside members of the wider school community.

Coordinated by a devoted team of teachers, the initiative aimed at promoting the core principles of the European Union - respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law, and human rights - and to explore their relevance in school and everyday life.

Through collaborative poster creation, reflection sessions, and experience sharing with former Erasmus+ participants, the students were encouraged to engage critically and creatively with topics such as tolerance, empathy, diversity, and civic responsibility. The activity fostered key competences promoted by Erasmus+, including collaboration, intercultural understanding, and active citizenship.

The event concluded with an exhibition entitled #ErasmusDays2025: Live our values, inspire our future!, showcasing the students’ work. On this occasion, the school also disseminated the Erasmus+ project brochure for Project No. 2024-1-RO01-KA121-SCH-000206543, funded by the European Union and implemented during the 2024–2025 school year.

This campaign reaffirmed that European education goes beyond the idea of transnational mobilities; it is a continuous practice of shared values, inclusion, and democratic engagement, shaping both learners and educators to act as responsible European citizens.
