Climate change is a global problem that requires action by everyone to minimize its effects. The eTwinning project “The race against extinction”, developed in the school year 2020-2021, offered Romanian students the opportunity to investigate and learn about this topic, to alert the community for this issue and to act towards a sustainable and healthy planet by:
Action 1: Partners presented themselves in a Padlet wall with an action that helps to reduce the carbon footprint.
Action 2: Created a notice board at school: “We’re all together in this”
Action 3: Developed ideas (mind map) to reuse products and avoid waste.
Action 4: Worked in groups from different schools and did research on the topics: The life cycle of a product; Excessive consumption; The extinction of species.
Action 5: Built messages on different media to raise awareness of the topic (posters, videos...)
