Inspired by the founding ideals of the European Union and the metaphor of a musical symphony, the project invites students to explore Europe’s past, understand its present and imagine its future.

Structured in three main movements, the project promotes a transdisciplinary approach, connecting History, Geography, Arts, Music, Languages, ICT, Citizenship, Science, and Sustainability. Through active and collaborative learning strategies, students worked in both local teams and international groups to investigate European roots, reflect on shared values and address future challenges.

Throughout the project, learners were engaged in debates, storytelling, multimedia production, artistic creation, and digital collaboration. By combining historical inquiry, cultural expression and forward-looking reflection, the project aims to strengthen students’ sense of European identity, active citizenship and intercultural understanding, while developing communication and digital skills in an authentic international context.

The main objectives of the project are to:
• Develop students’ historical awareness of life in European countries before joining the European Union.
• Promote reflection on European values such as democracy, peace, solidarity, inclusion and human rights.
• Foster intercultural dialogue and collaboration through transnational teamwork.
• Improve students’ communication skills in English in authentic contexts.
• Enhance digital literacy through the creation of multimedia products.
• Encourage active citizenship by engaging students in discussions about Europe’s future challenges.
• Support creativity and self-expression through artistic and musical activities.
