The eTwinning project “In globish, please!” was developed from October 2019 to June 2020 by teachers and students from Italy, Portugal, and Romania.
Definition of Globish (ˈɡləʊbɪʃ), from the Collins English Dictionary is: noun, a simplified version of English used by non-native speakers, consisting of the most common words and phrases only.
The project offered to our students the opportunity to use eTwinning as a tool to enhance English learning and practice it in real-life contexts. Different activities were proposed to approach the learning of English, which encouraged students to communicate and use their speaking skills.
In order to achieve the objectives and fulfill the tasks, the students worked in mixed teams (Portugal - Italy, Portugal - Romania, Italy - Romania), used various web 2.0 tools, communicated, collaborated.
Romanian team created the poster of the project.
