<p>
	Plot:&nbsp;</p>
<p>
	Willie, a gentle homeless man on Skid Row, is coerced by rich teenagers into fighting other down-and-out men for money.<br />
	​He gains solace from a burnt diary he finds and starts &quot;writing&quot; replies to the troubled young girl who wrote it.<br />
	​Because he cannot deliver the notes, Willie creatively folds his heartfelt responses into paper planes and launches them into the air.<br />
	​Willie earns the nickname &quot;Cardboard Boxer&quot; but tries to leave the violence, befriending the cynical veteran, Pinky.</p>
