Let's be good ...

This is a part of the activities in our project ””Our Schools, Beautiful, Sustainable, Together””.

World Goodness Day on November 13 is celebrated in many countries. Schools all over the globe are marking it. This day was also marked at Ghelari Secondary School! Through our work we want to emphasize the development of positive actions and kindness between children, people, communities and we want to highlight the fact that kindness is a bridge between people.

In this context, the students and teachers from Ghelari Secondary School celebrated this day through an activity organized by the students of the V-VI grade simultaneously and coordinated by Mrs. Luminița-Melania Dîngă, in which the students learned that kindness means generosity, consideration, concern for others, kindness teaches us the most important lessons, encourages us in difficult moments, it reminds us of all that is beautiful.

Students learned about humanity and kindness from the quotes reproduced by the students of class V-VI simultaneously. The children sang a song about kindness in English and, divided into pairs, highlighted the kindness they did and do daily. Then followed the drawing session, much loved by the children, in which they competed to present how they see this quality of their price. At the end of the activity all the students enjoyed the delicious flavors of the apples.

For children, getting involved in such activities means cultivating and developing prosocial behaviors, educating positive character traits, becoming aware of the real problems faced by their peers.

Celebrated every year, the kindness of mind urges children, but also "great people" to do good deeds, without expecting anything in return. Self-gratification for the good done is their only reward.

Through today's activity, children encourage us to do good deeds, to make the world a more beautiful place through the common thread of kindness that unites us all. It is through kindness that we love, we trust, we become wise and we evolve. The good man is gentle, loves and accepts all his fellows as they are.

Is there a greater value of the human being than goodness? This question rings in my ears and continually makes me think ...

Etwinning Project ”Let”s Bond. Portugal/Romania

This project consisted of exchanging cultural materials prepared by the students (posters, videos, games) in English.

Students improved their English and communication skills and their digital skills and grow in international contact, citizenship, creativity, and problem-solving.

The aims for this project were:

-Exchanging materials about students”culture and traditions, events and special occasions;

-Improving English and communication skills and digital skills;

-Contacting with different realities and getting to know Europe better;

-Broadening students' horizons and giving them a taste of an international project;

-Developing students' creativity;

-Helping students develop their national and European citizenship;

-Aiding students in sharpening their problems solving skills.

The final product of the eTwinning project ``Catarsis. Shall we make a short film?``

At the beginning of the school year I became a partner of the team involved in the eTwinning project ``Catarsis. Shall we make a short film?`` I consiodered it a challenge at that time and it proved to be one with a great result.

Students were less motivated at the beginning of the project, but as the project progressed, they became more and more implicated. Communication, commitment, curiosity, creativity, friendship,outcomes were key words of the project.

``Catarsis. Shall we make a short film?`` eTwinning project

``Catarsis. Shall we make a short film?`` is an eTwinning project which has its final task a short film which can be set in any period of history (including the present time). Students should take different roles:

* Film directors
* Cameras
* Scriptwriter
* Producers
* Actors
* Make-up artists

The distribution of roles is nspired by the Johari Window technique. Each student proposes the role with which he or she identifies the most (main role) and the rest of the students propose the role they think this person will be good at (secondary role).

There are many subjects involved, such as:

+ Graphic and Plastic Arts
+ Biology

The outcomes of the eTwinning project 2022 ``Seasons Through the Eyes of Children``

The Project Work Plan of the project ``Seasons Through the Eyes of Children` was:
In September, October, Novembeer we filled in the information about our partners, the country, the city and our school, we made the project logo and the Logo Contest, we realized activities about traditions and customs specific to the autumn season and we completed inhe Book of the Fall Season.

In December, January, February we realized activities about traditions and customs specific to the winter season and we completed inhe Book of the Winter Season.

In March, April, May we posted our activities in the spring and summer seasons and we realized activities about traditions and customs specific to spring and summer season and we completed inhe Book of the Spring Season and the Book of the Summer Season.

``Seasons Through the Eyes of Children`` eTwinning Project at the end of it

The project covered the four seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter and all the specific elements related to weather conditions, changes in nature and seasonal activities of people and their specific holidays. Traditions and customs specific to each season, activities in all seasons were presented in the project. We, students and children, made books for each season and we worked together in many beautiful collaboartive activities.

This project was integrated into the school curriculum in each 16 participating countries as follows:
- In Art and Literature we talked and made creative texts about the seasons, we discussed the traditions and customs specific to each season specific to each participating country, we celebrated Europe Day and eTwinning Day,
- In Civic Education- students learned to be better, more responsible,
- In Natural Sciences we learned about the changes in nature specific to each season, about the life of animals and plants and we learned to protect nature,
- In Art we make drawings, posters and collages about the four seasons,
- In Media we found out about the phenomenon of false news,
- In Music we sang songs about the four seasons,
- In Foreign languages we used English in the collaborative activities within the project,
- In Technology we used the internet and web2.0 in an educational way.

Sărbătoarea Paștelui

Învierea Domnului sau Sărbătoarea de Paște este una dintre cele mai mari sărbători religioase ale anului care constituie fundația de bază a credinței și a Bisericii creștine. Fără Învierea lui Isus creștinismul nu s-ar fi răspândit și nu ar fi fost crezut, iar Biserica nu s-ar fi format, lumea rămânând păgână.

La câteva zile după intrarea triumfală în Ierusalim, Mântuitorul a fost judecat, chinuit și răstignit, a murit pe cruce și a fost pus în mormânt. După trei zile, duminica dimineața, El a Înviat pentru mântuirea neamului omenesc.

Sărbătoarea Paștelui simbolizează bucurie, lumină și speranță. Credincioșii din întreaga lume primesc marea sărbătoare a Paștelui cu iubire, împlinire sufletească și veselie. Așa se întâmplă și la noi în școală, la Liceul Teoretic Ghelari, județul Hunedoara.

De asemenea, Sărbătoarea Paștelui este și un prilej de reuniune cu membrii familei, când se lasă deoparte grijile și problemele de zi cu zi, iar gândurile se îndreaptă către fapte bune și recunoștință.

2 aprilie, Ziua Internaţională a Cărţilor pentru copii

Ziua Internaţională a Cărţilor pentru copii, marcată anual pe 2 aprilie, este prilej pentru promovarea literaturii pentru copii şi pentru stimularea dorinţei de lectură a celor mai mici cititori.

Ziua internaţională a cărţilor pentru copii a fost iniţiată în 1967. Data coincide cu ziua de naştere a celui mai îndrăgit autor de basme, Hans Christian Andersen. Scriitorul danez a încântat generaţii de copii cu povestiri precum: „Hainele împăratului", „Fetiţa cu chibrituri", „Răţuşca cea urâtă", „Micuţa sirenă".

Manifestările dedicate acestei zile la Ghelari includ activităţi la Liceul Teoretic Ghelari în colaborare cu biblioteca comunală Ghelari. Am realizat Marșul Cărții la Ghelari pe traseul cuprins între școală, centrul comunei și bibliotecă. Elevii au realizat, în atelierele de desen, imagini de copertă pe care le-au purtat cu mândrie prin comună. La final au primit în dar cate o carte, un semn de carte și o diplomă.

Odată ce iei în mână o carte, totul se schimbă. În cărţi lucrurile se petrec în linişte şi într-o ordine precisă, evenimentele din trecut se întretaie cu cele care încă nu s-au întâmplat. Universul unei cărţi este fără margini, împleteşte realitatea cu imaginaţia şi fantezia. Cărţile ne ajută să nu ne grăbim, să avem răbdare, ne învaţă să observăm lucruri. Noi citim cărțile, iar cărţile ne citesc colţurile gurii atunci când se ridică şi cad și cărţile citesc în ochii noștri.

Ziua mondială a apei-22 martie 2022 și ”Povestea unei picături de apă” de M.Ghivrigă

Când se trezi dimineaţă, se află pe un fir de iarbă. Se întinse somnoroasă de era gata – gata să se rostogolească pe o frunză lată de conduraş.
Era rotundă şi sclipitoare că un bob de mărgăritar. Soarele o mângâie tandru cu razele lui răcoroase de dimineaţă. Se simţea atât de fericită! Cine mai era atât de răsfăţată că ea?
După un timp simţi că i se întâmplă ceva. O rază insistentă de soare o gâdilă necontenit făcând-o parcă mai uşoară. Vru să scape de ea şi încercă să se rostogolească pe frunză de conduraş, dar se simţi luată pe sus de raza jucăuşă şi începu să urce spre cer. La început s-a simţit frustrată de ce i se întâmpla, dar apoi descoperi că-i place. Era uşoară şi diafană şi se simţea înconjurată de altele ca ea.
După un timp ajunse într-un nor unde hotărî să se odihnească. Parcă nu mai era atât de uşoară, ba din contra, parcă era mai grasă! Îşi făcu cu greu loc printre suratele ei şi încercă să aţipească puţin.
Dar deodată simţi că o ia frigul şi că norul începe să plutească. Deschise ochii speriată şi-l văzu.
Era vântul cel de miază-noapte care, turbat, suflă norii încolo şi încoace izbindu-i unul de altul. Încerca să se ţină de tovarăşele ei, dar se simţi din ce în ce mai grea. Parcă nici norul nu o mai putea ţine şi, învins de vântul cel rău, le dădu drumul obosit tuturor. Era ca un mic bolovan care, speriat, zbura spre pământ ca nu cumva vântul cel fioros să o ajungă din urmă.
Alături de ea erau mii şi mii de cristale de gheaţă îngrozite. Spera ca raza cea prietenoasă de soare s-o ajute, dar n-o întâlni. Cu toate că era după – amiază, soarele, cu razele lui blânde, nu era nicăieri. Cine o va salva? se întreba îngrozită picătură îngheţată de spaimă.
Nu se mai gândi, şi-şi dădu drumul printre frunzele unui trandafir roşu şi posomorât zdrențuindu-i-le, după care se izbi dureros de o piatră de se sfărâmă în câteva bucăţi mici şi sclipitoare de gheaţă.
Se lăsă purtată de vânt până sub tufa de trandafir unde încercă să-şi tragă sufletul. Uf! Prin ce-i fusese dat să treacă! Se lipi de tulpina trandafirului şi-i simţi căldura prietenoasă. Privi în jur. Suratele ei speriate şi îngheţate ca şi ea acoperiseră pământul cu un strat rece şi supărat de gheaţă.
Urgia trecuse. Soarele dădu la o parte un nor încă bosumflat, să vadă ce se întâmplase. Cum? Cineva încercase să-i înlocuiască strălucirea? Ce-i cu stratul acela sclipitor de gheaţă de pe pământ?
Cu forţe sporite, chiar dacă era spre seară, soarele alungă vântul cine ştie unde, împinse norii spre apus şi-şi trimise razele înarmate cu căldură spre pământ. Bobul cel mic de gheaţă simţi înţepătura caldă a razei. Chiar dacă durea, simţea că se topeşte de plăcere. Se lipi totuşi de tulpina primitoare a trandafirului şi se lăsă absorbită în jos de rădăcina lui.
Se simţi folositoare şi mulţumită şi se lăsă încălzită de căldura şi întunericul pământului. Adormi gândindu-se : şi mâine e o zi. Oare cum va fi?

Aceasta a fost povestea unei picături de apă dedicată zilei mondiale a apei. Elevii Liceului Teoretic Ghelari au ascultat-o cu plăcere, au realizat importanța apei în natură și în viața omului și și-au folosit imaginația desenând și pictând apa.

21 martie: Ziua mondială a poeziei

An de an, la data de 21 martie este sărbătorită Ziua mondială a poeziei, una din cele mai prețuite forme ale exprimării identității culturale și lingvistice ale umanității.

Poezia vorbeşte despre valorilor noastre comune, ea reperezintă un mesaj pentru dialog şi pace. Această zi este o ocazie oferită pentru a aduce un omagiu poeziei, de a reînvia tradiţiile orale ale recitalurilor de poezie, de a promova citirea, scrierea şi predarea poeziei, de a încuraja legătura dintre poezie şi alte arte, precum teatrul, dansul, muzica şi pictura.

Poezia poate schimba modul în care oamenii văd lumea, poate inspira remedierea legăturilor dintre oameni şi poate crea armonie între aceştia. Poezia are capacitatea unică de a surprinde spiritul creativ al minţii umane şi are puterea de a schimba modul de a vedea ceea ce ne înconjoară.
