	Objective: Students will understand the concept of copyright, its importance, and how to respect copyright laws in their own use of creative content.</p>

	Lesson Steps:<br />
	1. Introduction (5 minutes)<br />
	o Begin with a question: &quot;Who owns the music you listen to, the books you read, or the videos you watch?&quot;<br />
	o Briefly introduce the concept of ownership and the idea that creative works are owned by their creators.</p>

	2. What is Copyright? (10 minutes)<br />
	o Define copyright: Explain that copyright is a legal right that gives the creator of original work exclusive rights to its use and distribution.<br />
	o Use simple examples: Mention books, music, movies, and software.<br />
	o Show copyright symbols: &copy;, &reg;, &trade;</p>

	4. Copyright in Everyday Life (10 minutes)<br />
	o Explain different ways people encounter copyright daily: Downloading music, sharing photos, creating videos.<br />
	o Discuss what is legal and what is not: Streaming vs. downloading, sharing purchased content vs. pirating.</p>
