Project details:

Easter is one of the most important Christian festivals. The project "Art&tradition across Europe- Happy Easter" is a nonprofit, collective and joint activity among children, from 12 to 19. We want to make delightful Easter cards with wishes and the words "Happy Easter" in English and own language. Also, we will create PowerPoint presentation about what means Easter in each partner's country.

This project is going to be developed during the months of March/ May (during the Easter period).

Tools to be used: Chat, e-mail, Forum, MP3, Other software (Powerpoint, video, pictures and drawings), Twinspace, Web publishing etc.

Aims:

- to find more about Easter customs and traditions of other European countries,

- to practice English for simple communications,

- to develop practical ICT skills,

- to encourage interchange of acknowledgment and experiences between the participants of the project, in the social networks, as well as in e-Twinning,

- to highlight the cooperative work, and positive interdependence, as a way of getting a sizable construction,

-to make children laugh and be happy at school.

Activities:

We intend to: 1. make a virtual travelling in my country- a short presentation 2. create a short presentation about Easter tradition in each country 3. make Easter cards for our partners with the wishes written by the students. 4. to send Easter cards by post, at the address: Mrs. Popa Ofelia, Liceul Tehnologic Special SAMUS, str. Ialomitei nr. 17, Cluj- Napoca, Cluj, Romania 5. organise a school exhibition of Easter cards received from our partners etc. All the presentations and work will be uploaded on Twinspace.

Expected results: Hand made Easter cards with wishes, school exhibition of Easter Cards, power point presentations, project's blog etc
